Evolve Child Care is based on a large farm in rural Somerset. We have 2 Registered Children’s homes on site, extensive grounds set up for the children to enjoy, along with additional buildings for offices and opportunities for individual engagement with the children.
We employ BERRRI assessments and THRIVE to identify and support the individual emotional needs of the children we care for, and all our team members receive an exceptional level of training in understanding trauma and how it affect children, to ensure that they can work effectively and safely.
We are dedicated to providing a safe, secure, homely and nurturing environment for children aged 8 to 18. Our children can have complex needs, special educational needs and may have experienced attachment issues, abuse, neglect, trauma and or suffered a significant family crisis. Some of our children may also have some neurodiversity and so have different ways of thinking and learning. Our homes are provided with additional financial and practical resources to ensure that every child is provided with every opportunity.
We provide stability and consistency enabling each child to feel secure, build self esteem and support them to affect positive change in all aspects of their lives, and to achieve their identified outcomes. We make communication a priority were children learn respect for themselves and others and acquire the life and social skills to move forward into a more independent future.
